This privacy policy sets out the rules for the processing of personal data and the protection of the privacy of persons using the website and the services of the Law Office. Data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and the Polish Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data.

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
- Responding to enquiries and arranging a consultation (basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, necessary for steps prior to a contract).
- Correspondence and handling of an entrusted case (basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Fulfilment of legal obligations, including accounting, anti-money-laundering (AML) and retention of case files (basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and Polish law).
- Marketing of the office's own services and informational communication (basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest of the controller).
- Establishment, pursuit or defence against potential claims (basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Categories of data processed
- First and last name.
- Contact details: email address, phone number, postal address.
- Content of correspondence and the description of the case you provide.
- Data contained in documents provided for the purpose of handling a case.
- Technical data: IP address, browser data, when using the website.
4. Recipients of personal data
Your data may be shared with external parties supporting the office's operations, including: IT and hosting providers, email operators, and courts and public authorities where required by law.
Data is not transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area unless required by law or where appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
5. Data retention period
We retain your data no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. For data related to the handling of cases, for the period required by law, including provisions on attorney-client privilege and the archiving of files.
After the retention period, the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Right of access to your data and to receive a copy.
- Right to rectification (correction) of data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to restriction of processing.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest.

7. Complaint to the supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, https://www.uodo.gov.pl).
8. Requirement to provide data
Providing data in the contact form is voluntary but necessary to make contact and provide a response. Failure to provide data means your enquiry cannot be handled.
Where required by law (e.g. AML), providing data may be mandatory.
9. Automated decision-making and profiling
Your personal data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, that would produce legal effects or similarly affect you.
11. Changes to the privacy policy
